Well, for some reason, DA:I doesn't have an .ini file until you save the game (why?). Because of the black screen bug, i can't do this. So, could someone make an .ini file for me with absolutely everything turned down to the most minimal settings possible?
I especially need:
Post processing effects OFF
Anti-aliasing OFF
Windowed mode

You mean the settings didn't carry over or you tried to get around a blackscreen bug and it failed? because if the former, there's no hope. If the latter, it could still work for me.
Actually a whole save file would be nice. That way it would actually go to the title screen

Is this a PC request? If so, what file are you reffering to? I have scanned through every DA:I related folder in my computer, but none of them did contain any .ini file. I guess the settings are kept in some non-readable format, rather then in plaintext.

It's kept somewhere in C:\Users\*UserName*\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition

*is kept* as in "I have mine right there and can see it" or *is kept* as in "I think the game should have it because the previous ones did and I think every game should have one"?
I am asking because if the first, then my game install is seriously screwed up, as I have no such file in my game directories, which would actually explain some of the bugs I am seeing since yesterday morning...

That's just what I read. Since I made this post, I've lucked into getting far enough into the game so that something called d3dparams.ini appeared. It's there twice for some reason. once in the "Inquisitor_SaveGames" folder and once in the "Dragon Age Inquisition." wth.
Only 3 settings are listed... hmmm... in the "Save" folder there's ProfileOptions. what's in there, I wonder?

Curious... Are you playing on Windows 8 or 7? I think I might be in for reinstall, if there should be some .ini file inside...
