Cannot add abilities to toolbar

I have the same problem, my lightning strike or whatever i had in space 1 is gone and replaced with the rift thing.  I can move the rift thing, but don't know how to drag the lightining strike back to the tool bar.  Please help!!!

Exactly the same problem at that occured at the same time.

I found a rather cumbersome work around if you have a controller. Change to controller and add the skills to the controller "hotbar". When you change back to keyboard/mouse they should still be on the bar.

Great, I'm on a PC.  I'm also hitting something that kicks me into console control mode and I'm just typing letters in a white bos and cant' control my characters.  Any idea how to get out of that?

So does EA or BW answer these ever?  Still missing my number one ability.  Running with mouse and keyboard, no controller.

Instructions:

1) Press P

2) Go To Tactics Column.  You will see your abilities which will have check marks by them.  Left click with mouse the ability that you want.  Drag it to bottom right side of screen (which is your "ability hot bar").  You will see numbers like the bar on your hud interface.

3)  Now, go back into game and slay demons!!
