Cannot patch Dragon Age: Origins to 1.05

With Dragon Age Inquisition coming I thought I would reload DA:O and get back into the grove.

Game installs, Awakening installs, all DLC installs but when I try to patch to 1.05 it works for a while (files are being patched) and then it stops and gives me the following error.

An error occured applying the 1.05 update to your version of Dragon Age: Origins. [15]

The patch failed to apply because a file to be updated was not found.
Please try re-installing the game and then re-run the game update.

I have done a second clean install and am getting the same error.  I have found and downloaded the 1.04 patch and the same thing happens.

I can play the game, no errors but because it is only patched to 1.03 not all of my DLC can work.

I've looked through the forums, and online and a few other people are reporting this error recently and there doesn't seem to be a fix.

Can anyone please help?

Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.80GHz
8 GB RAM
NVIDIA GTX 470
