I suggest you go to cyberpowerpc.com and get yourself a nice gaming PC for $1600-2000........I have 2.80 Ghz processor (max turbo 3.8 Ghz)....16GB ram....6GB video card...17" screen........and the game runs like a charm..........never had any technical issues.
Digital Storm can build a great gaming machine for a very reasonable cost, and their reputation is good. I've never liked the reputation of the boutique brand you've mentioned, although they also advertise lower cost game capable PCs than $1600.
