Cannot Start DA:I missing DLL: [MSVCP110.dll] Error. 0x7E.

I cannot start Dragon Age Inquisition.  I get the following message:  Invalid License Reason Code = missing DLL: [MSVCP110.dll] Error. 0x7E.  My video drivers are up to date.  I am running Windows 8.1, which is also up to date.  I tried going into the _Installer folder and running the vc installers in there.  Nothing has worked yet.  Help, please!

(Also, I know I have already tried a few things, but helpful answers will generally assume that I don't know a lot.)

Thanks

Another thing that may help is to update your .NETwithin Windows.

If your security software is being overzealous it might also help to temporarily disable it then run the vc installers again, making sure you're on an admin Windows account.

I'm not sure why you wiped you other post, but I removed it as a duplicate now.

Jonki, appreciate the help.  I was about to download the vc file from the link you posted, but I then I realized I don't know a lot about how to do that.  Does the vc program need to be run from a particular folder?  Can I download it to anywhere?  Thanks!

Edit:  This worked.  Thanks for the help.

EA_David, thanks for the input.  I am running the program on the only Windows Account associated with this copy of windows/this computer.  Is that sufficient, or should I also be running "as administrator?"  (I know that's a thing, but not much more than that.)

It didn't work at first, but I ran the repair option in origin for the game after ensuring the dll files are the same. And it worked. Thanks.
