Mcshane41 this is not a resolution, this is as pretty much everyone else has stated a work around. Prior to my own purchase and translation of disc version to a digital version (VIA origin) my game worked fine. Currently have a case with specialists requesting a reversion of my Origin account, essentially setting things back to the 'last restore point'. Personal feeling is that if this doesn't work, it must be that my personal Dragon Age account through bioware is forked, meaning any achievements, trophies, etc, can be washed downstream.
Still, not all without hope. I'm considering doing a full thread this weekend with whatever screen shots they may require, so long as the issue can be eventually resolved. My two games right now are Dragon Age: Origins & Fallout 3 GOTY, & Fallout is too involved for me to play after work, at least doing anything that I'd save.

The problem I'm expericing simply looks to be a wrong URL in the info file the patcher downloads which points to a dead link for the dazip file.
I seriously suspect that if that's fixed, everything would work.
I do suspect that it's localization based, so only some countries/areas experience it, because otherwise I would guess this problem would be more 'widespread'.
