cant move forward or up

What platform are you playing on (PS3/PS4/Xbox360/XboxOne/PC/Mac)? Are you using a keyboard or controller if on PC? Do you have any extra control devices plugged in that could be interferring, such as a gamepad or second keyboard/mouse?

If on PC, you may have to go into your device manager under HIDs (Human Interface Devices) and disable something that may be sending an interfering signal to the game. You can also try (if on PC) remapping the up/foward key to something completely different like the = key and see if it is just the default W key that is having a problem.

ps4 no keyboard no device

Sorry then, I don't own DAI on PS4. If your controller up key on the DPAD works fine in every other function, I can only recommend trying to repair the install (if that is possible) or delete the game and reinstall (if possible).

It states that the DPAD will stop responding and you have to restart the game to get it working again.

thanks anyways ive tried everything that the dai team could think of ....so far it's still the same
