Can't open Darvaarad Gate in Tresspasser

Never mind. Seems the 200th try was the charm.

Right, Left, Center and watch what the locking mechanism does, it's easy that way.

I have been stuck at this door for months.  Gave up, come back to it occasionally. 

This was clearly designed for the console version.  On the PC version it is a mess.

I cannot stop turning the wheel.  Ok, use the veilfire and pick it up.  Stupid, but I'm doing it.

When I turn the wheels NOTHING HAPPENS.  Nothing.  Nada.  Zip.  

I have tried it both with and without the veilfire.  

Is there a cheat to get around this thing?  Otherwise I've wasted my money.

It's exactly the same on the PC only you click and HOLD to spin the wheels, release to stop.

I have watched several videos at You Tube now.  When I release the character does not stop turning the wheel.  But I found a way around that by clicking on a dropped torch of veilfire.  The new problem is that turning the wheels does nothing now.  It's not a matter of holding down anything.  Turning the wheels does not change the locks anymore.  Turning the wheels did alter the lock for a time, but now they don't move at all.  I might consider going back and beginning Trespasser from the start but I do not have confidence I'll get a different result.

Played Trespasser again.  Same exact problem.  Turning the three wheels does absolutely nothing.

Please fix this!  To have come all this way and not be able to finish truly sucks.
