Can't switch characters in Dragon Age Inquisition

For some reason during my playing today, all other controls work with my keyboard/settings except I cannot switch characters using either the mouse click on the portrait, or by pressing F1, F2, etc.

Not sure why. I went to the keyboard mapping and hit reset as well, but nothing will let me change from my main character.

Answers?

There were a couple of posts on this the last few days. I believe the only answer was to restart the whole game. Then it should work again. But do a search to see if more suggestions were offered.

After I restarted the game, all worked correctly again. Luckily, I was able to save where I was, and then re-enter with all working! Not sure what caused this problem, but I couldn't use switch to a needed character to enter the mine in the Hinterlands. Thanks!

For anyone still having this issue saving and loading back in fixed it for me.

@MochiiSimmer Hey there, this thread is pretty old so I'm locking it to prevent necroposting. Glad to know that the solution is still working after all this time though 🙂
