Can't turn in call me Imshael with Michel

So this game is super bugged. Haven't seen any downloads making me think it's getting fixed. So this 4th bug I've come across. I've beaten Imshael and the quest updated for me to inform Michel of this. I go to Michel and click on him and all he says is "everything is fine" or something to that effect. He has the star over him on the map. So now I can't turn in this quest? I haven't found anything online about someone having the same problem. I also can't turn in Quarry Quandry because the person isn't there to talk to. I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I also can't finish Cassandra's quest cause of a bug and one other. I'm not going to be able to complete the game ☹️

  • If you didn't talk to Michel before killing Imshael, then there was no quest to turn in, and Michel cannot become an Agent. Not sure if this is a bug or intended, but in the future you should talk to poeple in a zone before setting out to kill the biggest enemy in the area, or even to find a lost ring. Some quests allow you to complete them even if you never started them, but not Imshael.

Also, these are all side quests and companion quests. They do not impact your ability to finish the main plot line. All turning in the Imshael mission does is give you an Agent and 3 or 4 War Table missions. So a bit more side plot, but nothing critical.

If you really want Michel to join the inquistion, you will have to reload to before killing Imshael, and go speak to Michel to get the quest.

  • Hmmmm. I was fairly certain I talked to him before hand but I guess I hadn't. Weird cause the star still stands over him on the map. Must be a bug cause I would hope the star would go away. All well thank you though. Just a little frustrating since it's the 4th quest I am having trouble completing.

  • Even if you talk to Michel before killing Imshael it can still bug. I talked to him, asked him to become an agent, and got the quest to kill Imshael. I even have the quest waiting to be turned in. The map marker and the journal all list it as waiting to be turned in.  Yet Michel just says "No sign of trouble at the moment" with no dialogue options appearing to turn it in.

I saved my game and it brought the dialogue up. Which seems to be the exact problem the original poster had and means you don't have to go back to a previous save to do the entire quest line over again if you encounter a turn in bug. Try saving the game and loading it back up. If that alone doesn't work try saving the game after clicking on Michel and going into the dialogue view. When you load it should load with the dialogue up and you are able to turn it in.

If the game shows the quest complete and a turn in spot you don't need to pick it up before did the objectives. Otherwise you know you wouldn't have the quest complete and ready to turn in...
