Castle bugs - Cassandra and Judgement bugs

I found 2 bugs, one which happen to be "game breaking".

Cassandra (non-game breaking).

When romancing Cassandra and she for the first time confronts the player I was locked in a palce I am not supposed to be, namely the garden upper level. The area is still blocked by the castle wooden support things, so I had to jump down. This seems like it was unintentional as I found lots of stuff up there, and since I shouldn't be able to go there yet I expect some of it may be for later on.

In any case, as mentioned, this isn't hindering in any way, just weird being locked outside.

Throne room judgement (Game breaking)

So, I reached the part where I have to decide whether or not to judge the mayor of the city where he drowned a lot of people during the first blight.

I went and did it the first time, but some text came that I didn't get to read and I loaded my game, which was saved just in front of the throne. Now, whenever I sit on the throne it will load for several minutes before spawning me out of the throne, with people standing around it as if the event is going on, but I'm out of the throne and the dialogue fails to execute. Seems rather weird, and I have found no fix for this as of yet.

Just wanted to report these. If this is the wrong place, please move the post. I love the game and will continue trying to find a way to fix the throneroom issue! :D

having the same bug, which is really annoying after 33 hour of gameplay 😛 any solution?

Having the exact same issue with the judgement of the mayor. Lucky I have a save before I sat the first time, and can just avoid the throne in hopes of a fix soon.
UPDATE: After I closed the game and origin both, restarted and let Origin update. I went straight back to the throne and sat and the cut scene proceeded normally.

That doesnt help with the PS 4 version since u cant restart origin on PS4 can u..i have encounteed the same and its f***ing upsetting.

I was having the same issue with my judgement I would try to sit on the throne it would take forever to load then I would be standing near it with all the people around but not interactions with the throne or judgements to make. If you fast travel somewhere out of skyhold and come back it resets the throne. But trying again had the same issue. What fixed it for me was switching thrones in the undercroft then when I sat on the throne the cutscene loaded and I was able to do my judgement. Hope this helps.

Me too I stop at Black loading Screen when I going to Judgment Blackwall And I can not do any thing

You can fix the Judgement bug by loading a save before the Judgement. Go to another area of the castle... I think I summoned a war council then went and sold some stuff, then fast traveled back to the throne room. And then the Judgement worked fine again.
I've found a lot of these bugs can be fixed by going to another area and coming back. Just like the bugs which makes NPCs disappear from the world.

I had this problem with a judgement. I had saved before the judgement, went through it once and then wanted to try different options. I finally had to do a hard reboot. (XBox One) That worked and i was able to choose different responses.

Im playing on the Xbox One. The judgment bug has happened to me on most of them, but I've always been able to get around it by traveling out, war room, or switching the throne. Now I'm at the last judgment of the game and nothing is working! This is so frustrating; I hope this gets patched soon.

And after hours of frustration and posting the above, it unlocks in my last ditch attempt. Thank you, Mythal. 😉 Anyway, I changed my fully upgraded Ferelden Throne to the basic Andrastian one, fast traveled from the Undercroft to Emprise du Lion where I walked to a map point (as supposed to fast traveling), and then went back to Skyhold and triggered the throne. I don't if any of this even mattered, but I thought I'd tell you what led up to it finally working for me. Good luck to anyone still stuck on it!

On PC, what worked for me was exiting the game completely and exiting the Origin client, then re-starting both. I also ran over to the war table and collected a couple rewards for completed missions before I tried judging again, so who knows if that had anything to do with it? If you have tried traveling and changing thrones with no success, try my method, as I did neither and got the judgement scene to work just fine.
