I've also been experiencing a lack of banter. Someone on here mentioned that, when the banter does trigger, it's like Christmas came early just because of how rare it is. I found that the Storm Coast was best for party banter to trigger, but even there I can run around for an hour never hear anything.
To repeat what I've posted on the BSN. I'm about 45 hours in and have heard about 8-10 banters total. I've explored all but two maps and in a few (wastes/fellow) I've never heard a peep
