I think I know what caused it. I was level 4-6 exploring the Hinterlands. I had not yet chosen between the mages or templars at that point. It happened at the camp close to where the dragon is; right beside the red lyrium cave but before the dragonlings. I remember setting up camp and banter started. I moved forward into the caveand then it suddenly stopped. Was it the appearance of several red templars that caused my party to comment on their presence? I think that might have been it. Afterwards there was barely any banter between my party members despite me switching them. I think banter only happened a couple of times afterwards. Hope this helps
