Computer locks up when playing Frostbite games
I'm experiencing random lock-ups in every frostbite game I'm playing at the moment (BF4, BF:H, DA:I).
The screen freezes and I can't do anything with keyboard, mouse or gamepad. Keyboard is completely unresponsive, can't activate Caps lock LED etc. Audio keeps on coming as per normal. In DA:I ambient music keeps playing up to a point, about 30 seconds. In BF:H audio keeps on going forever. Skype still works, I can hear my friend on the other side and he can hear he, which is odd.
I definitely suspect the Frostbite engine is at fault. No other games can reproduce this event.

UPDATED: I've narrowed the crash/freeze down in DA:I. It only occurs in dialogue, cutscenes and occasionally the wartable. Especially the cutscenes seem like almost a guarantee for a crash. Seems even more likely AFTER you've been exploring, questing and fighting for a long time. Yesterday I played for almost 3 hours straight, and as soon as I got back to Skyhold and the game started a cutscene - the computer locked up. This has happened many times before but now it seems confirmed to be related to cutscenes. I don't think its Skyhold specifcally, I've had the crash a few times while in the "new zone" cutscene where Scout Harding greets you.
Things I've tried
Updating everything (DX, .NET, C++ etc including drivers for every device on my PC).
Underclocking GPU.
Stock settings in BIOS = stock CPU clock.
Disabling all other programs that might interfere.
Various graphical settings in game (Low settings, windowed mode etc).
Reinstalling and repairing game.
Repairing windows (nothing found)
Origin offline mode.
Disabling Origin In-game.
Installing games on both SSD and HDD
Switching between different AO settings.
Wiped Nvidia drivers in Windows safe mode and then a clean express install of new drivers in normal Windows mode.
Windows and Nvidia power settings to maximum/performance.
I'm sure there's more I've tried, but you get the gist.
Things I haven't tried
Every graphical setting one by one
Different hardware components
Reinstalling Windows
Increasing Virtual memory (who knows?)
