DA is definitely linked to my Nvidia GPU. Nvidia has also been completely updated now; my GeForce Experience was glitching out and told me it was fully up-to-date when this wasn't the case. Unfortunately, the problem still persists. I already had HWMonitor downloaded, and no considerable changes have occurred.
Prior to reading your reply I reinstalled the game and the DLCs (for the third time) with no change again. I completely respecced my companions, turning all upgrades back to the original pre-DLC states, and there is still no change. It seems the CTD happens when randomly, and the disconnections happen during combat (hence why I thought the upgrades were causing the problem). Sometimes I was able to last 5 minutes or so, but now it's less that 30 seconds.
As for the errors in the dxdiag, I haven't experienced anything prior to this nonsense, so I would have to say these were from this recent problem.
First to your GPU. You have a Optimus notebook, that means, in very simple terms, that the Intel GPU and the NVIDIA GPU are working together all the time.
Upgrading one of this driver alone will probably not be successful to solve a problem. As a matter of fact it is recommanded to use the latest drivers for both GPUs HP is providing for your laptop. > Link
- Download the drivers
- Download Display Driver Uninstaller
- Disable your internet connection.
- Use DDU in save Mode to uninstall both drivers.
- After the reboot, install the Intel driver > reboot.
- Install the NVIDIA Driver > reboot.
If that don't helps, crate a new (Administrator) user profile > reboot > logon to the new profile and test the game.
