Continuing Disappearing Valta bug

In Deep Roads DLC, I have run into the "disappearing Valta" bug. Jumping back to either base camp or secondary camp has not fixed it. I have exited and reloaded the game several times with no success. I note that his problem was originally identified in 2015. Has it never been fixed? Is there a workaround?

Try going back to SkyHold and return to deep roads. This has been reported to fix this, and doesn't cause an issue with the DLC as I have jumped in and out of the DLC multiple times while playing it.
