Crashing on Autosave

Every time the game autosaves, my screen freezes. I am still able to move the camera around, but that's all. Everything else has locked up and there is no sound. Upon restarting the game, my saves...

It is weird the sorts of bugs/errors caused by graphics issues in this game, and it seems to happen more to people with newer/better cards than mine (yay for my old GTX 570 😛 ).

Ah ha! I narrowed it down to a graphics issue. Apparently I'm not allowed to have some settings on Ultra. That is a bummer, and very strange that it would produce a bug so specific, but there you have it. Thank you for all your help. 🙂
