DA Inquisition freezes after pressing 'menu' button on start screen - xBox One.

This is happening to me as well. Never had an issue before today.

If you go to the dashboard and open another app or game, then return to Inquisition, does the issue persist?

Yes.

If I go to another app and close Dragon Age when I come back the game will not even load past a black screen. It takes me restarting the Xbox one to even get me back to "press menu button" part where it then freezes once more.

You mention restarting the machine. Is this a full restart where you hold the button to force a shutdown?

If this has no effect, can you try restarting and logging into an alternate gamertag, then launching the game?

Yes, a full restart.

I've also tried logging into a different gamertag and the same freeze occurs.

It did work when I ejected the disk and then pulled the plug from my xbox one for awhile. I'm not sure what the ejection of the disk and the pulling of the plug contributed to the effort, but whatever, it works!

I've been haing the SAME EXACT infuriating problem since I got the game at Xmas! I'll try whats prescribed above... already tried unloading and reinstalling the game, clearing out the Blueray memory, restarting, etc.....
