DA inquisition,server issue

DA Inquisition has message that it can Not connect to Dragon Age Servers.  PS4 is online, with zero issue

    Hey @EB7744. 

    It looks like the Dragon Age Inquisition servers are currently up and running from what I'm able to see. Have you tried power cycling your PS4 along with your router/modem to see if that helps at all? 


    If you're still having trouble connecting after that check out the basic connection troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help website. If you're still getting the same error message afterward I'd recommend trying the PS4-specific steps as well.

Okay, so I cleared the Alternate MAC address and rebooted, and I am still having the same problem. It makes all of the DLC unavailable as well. I have captured a brief video (42 seconds) showing this and uploaded it to my OneDrive for sharing.

Edit: I did install everything so that's not the issue

Thanks for the video. This is what you're seeing when you're trying to play through backwards compatibility on the Xbox One, correct? Are you connected to Xbox Live in backwards compatibility? I'm wondering if it's having trouble syncing cloud information.

    Yes, logged into Xbox Live, and no issues with cloud syncing. Tatum is the only character on cloud storage from my 360. I had finished up Golems of Amgarrak on that. 

    Prior to this I had multiple characters synced  to my Xbox One and had the same issue, which is why I uninstalled and decided to finish some of the DLC on my 360.

    If you're able and need to check my XBL account my gamertag is Grumpy0lLady, and is associated with this email address. The DA Keep recognizes that.

    Here's a thought:

    Apparently there's a similar problem on the PC version and the fix is to install the toolset. No idea how that affects it but perhaps there's something in the code that allows the server link? I know it's a long shot but it's frustrating to not be able to play a backwards compatible game with or without the discs. I have the discs but it is still being sold on the Xbox Marketplace so it really should be fixed.

    What toolset? because I have all 3 games in the DA series and Inquisition & 2 won't work. Origin does but the DLC don't show up
