DA2 asks for Origin activation (Steam)

Make sure EA app and Steam are closed.

Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.

Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER

Delete the "License" folder.

Test

This thread is a life saver. I butted my head against this problem for hours until I was able to stumble across this solution and it worked flawlessly.

It even worked deleting the License folder when the apps were still turned on too.
