DA2 Origin Download...missing Language Options

Hi there,

last year i bought Dragon Age 2 at the german EA Store (now "Origin"). It was the german version with german audio and german subtitles and german menu...allw as german, all was fine.

Today i wanted to reinstall DA2 but when i wanted to start the Download i only can choose english language for the game.

I downloaded it anyway...maybe i could change language at the launcher? Yes, i could. So i changed Language at the Launcher to "de-de" for both audio and language. But still the whole game is english.

As we have no support in the german Bioware Social Network, no one could help us there (and we have no writing rights in english DA2 forums). Maybe we could get some help here so that german players are again able to play DA2 in german?

Problem solved GERMAN languagepack.

At least they've began to fix it.
I hope for the DA II players from other countries the final fix will come soon.

It should be working for Polish and Russian again as well. Can you please check and come back to us if you still have issues?

@sugandhalaya: We will open Answer HQ to more languages. This is only the beta phase after all. 😕mileywink:

I got a similar problem.
I bought DA2 via Origin. In the description of the game was German as language listed.
It is also listed in my bill of the game.
when i try to downlaod DA2 with the origin client there is only one language to select - english.
now i want to know, how i can manage it to play the game in german as i originally bought it.

Please contact an EA Game Advisor. They will look into the issue and help you get the correct language version of the game.

To do so, go to https://help.ea.com/

Log in with your Origin account and then chose the appropriate options in the drop down menu for "Product", "Category", and "Platform". Then you will see the available contact options.
