DAI Descent: missing ancient scorched gears (PC)
Hello,
I cannot find the third ancient scorched gear needed to open the first locked gate after going down in the lift from the base camp.
I've looked for answers and tried the following: restarting the pc; reloading the game; leaving the area and returning later - nothing works.
I can see the item marked on the map (halfway down a long passage, under a pile of rubble) but it's not there, and searching (pressing V) reveals nothing.
I've tried looking for a console command of the add_item type but I cannot find a conclusive answer, or indeed the item ID.
I'm playing on a PC, Windows 7, game was bought as a download from Amazon earlier this year and is a GOTY edition with all the DLCs
Can someone please help me? I am stuck and it's very frustrating.

OK, so I read a reply to another query which mentioned the 'repair game' function in Origin. I tried this and the missing gear has turned up - not under the rubble but next to the gate. Problem solved.
