DAI FMM Object reference not set to an instance of an object error 2026

I've posted this error on several forums and have not received a viable solution as of yet. I have DAI through Steam, but I think the problem mostly lies within the EA App. Upon trying to launch the Frosty Mod Manager application and selecting the game, this error will pop up and then subsequently crash the application.

I use the latest version of Frosty designed for DAI and have used this for a long time without having issues. However, recently with the EA app updated, I can now no longer even open the app. I have tried many ways to resolve the issue, but none of the solutions given have worked. 

I was told the issues are most likely due to the EA app no longer reading certain files due to permissions and such. I am not certain what that means and don't know how to fix it. 

The game will launch through Steam in vanilla mode, but the game is practically unplayable that way in my opinion. 

If anyone knows how to fix this, please advise. I am at my wits end with this.
