DAI only game not launching for me

Hello! So, to start, I have close to 500 hours on DAI alone, I stopped playing for a couple of months and decided to come back into it today. I have spent the entire day trying to fix my game! At first, I was getting ready to upload new mods, but I wanted to make sure it worked because I have had problems with it in the past. Nothing like today though. Regardless, I got rid of my mod folders, and it still didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game 5 times, still nothing. Verified files both on steam and origin, still didn't work. It would say it was running on steam, go to origin, open the app, make me try to run it through there, then just reopen origin instead of loading the game.

Eventually, I gave up on origin because it said I had 430 hours when I had more than that on steam, so it usually isn't connected anyway (I don't believe lol). I promise I have gone through almost every forum trying to find solutions, nothing has worked for me so far. I did the exception thing for the virus protection, but it's still nothing. Updated drivers and windows, but nothing. I alalso restarted my pc, redownloaded origin and steam. Yeahhh, I just want to play DAI again, but this is wild.

If anyone has any advice, I would highly, highly appreciate it!!!

  • The issue I see at the bottom of your DxDiag file is a bunch of BEX issues....from my understanding it happens when two programs try to access the same memory location...ie a cross program interference.  The system SHOULDN'T allow this to happen but when you get enough programs doing stuff sometimes things happen.  The issue comes because no two computers are the same and thus no two BEX issues are solved by fixing the same programs.....so it is all a trial and error issue....which in some instances requires a complete reinstall of a clean Windows install to fix....yeah, it is one of those and I have heard very few people who get this fixed.

If someone else has a better idea or information, then please feel free to chime in.
