Yeah I've been having the same problem though this is happening with my character. It's infuriating. Some people on the GameFacts form posted this:

This happens to me as well. It doesn't seem to be a bug with the respec itself, but rather investing multiple skill points at a time. Try doing 2 at a time. I haven't determined if you have to close out of the menu first or just hit apply every couple points to avoid it. Just crashed a minute ago but was successful with 2 points at a time and closing the menu and going back in. Hope this helps.
So I tried that and so far, it hasn't worked. Does anyone know when Patch 3 will be released?
