Just happened to me but over 30 hours in!!!

- That stings! Is there any confirmation that multiple saves is a safe solution? This is a real game breaker if not.
I read someone post something about all of them being wiped or corrupt but not able to confirm. Waiting for EA to get back to me but sure there is nothing they can do.
In the meantime, not sure I want to risk it or not, just trying to warn people and raise awareness to the issue. I reckon' it will be picking up a lot of steam.
Happened to me while trying to do a fast travel back to the Havens from the Storm Coast.
FYI,
I was able to go to my storage management and delete the corrupted file. Luckily I had saved it 25 hours in and that file is still there. Booted back up and now I'm good to go.
WHEW!!!Make sure you save at least every couple of hours.
