In general:
- In the Frosty Fix main Window > Click the cogwheel > Settings Select "Launch game with Frosty"
- Under "Frosty Installation" navigate to your FrostyModManager installation. (Select the Exe.)
- Under "Custom Game" navigate to your game folder. (Select the Exe, do not click "Reset Settings.)
- Test.

Hey man maybe Im totally dumb * or anythin. The only I was been able to acomplish that EA APP and Steam just opens twice and nothin happens. Like the frosty starts the process then steam and EA closes starts and the game just wont start at all. Not sure why the * not but it drivin me crazy. can u help a bit? I dowloaded the fixer setup then steam shows this message not sure why cos there is no startup prompt enabled at all. I checked steam multiple times and have no idea what it means. Game.exe doesnt have promt, in steam management there is no prompt and in EA or Frosty there is not even settings to add promt. So it leave me confused and disapointed.

I can't say what is wrong in detail, but the "data path" is wrong for sure.
It is probably used by datapathfix to set the command-line in Steam on the fly.
Unfortunately, I am out of DA Modding for about 2 years (Playing and Modding mostly BG3 for the last year.) now and never used "datapathfix".
I suggest to seek help at the Frosty discord or from the datapathfix author.- Fred_vdp9 months agoHero+
A bit of an aside, but is Frosty still commonly used for modding Inquisition? I recently completed a playthrough and had to move from Frosty to DAI Mod Tools because Frosty caused some of my DLC not to load. (The Descent and Trespasser). I think this started with the move from Origin to EA app.
So I moved to DAI Mod Manager which worked a lot better for me. Problem is that DAI Tools Suite (which downloads the mod manager) doesn't work anymore, so you have to find a direct link to the mod manager, which I found on the Tapatalk forum (I won't link because of forum rules). In my experience it works much better, but I can understand that experiences may vary depending on which mods you want to use.
