DA:O Content not showing up in new playthrough

@pukingdog Hey, the "servers" aren't closed down. That error you get is to a social site that no longer exists. The game servers still run fine.

As for content, have you reinstalled the game and DLC you have, or is this something you have had installed for a while?

i reinstalled the game using the ea client.

@pukingdog Hey, confirmed something with the team. The server message errors you see in the game have no bearing on content, save, the Keep, etc.

So background on this one.  When DAO was released, it was released pre-Origin so when you installed Origin, your Bioware ID (like your EA ID) linked to Origin (Your EA account now)

The game would connect to social.bioware.com as well as a character data site for a social aspect part of the game.

Neither of those exists anymore. So, to remove those server messages, we would have to basically recode the entire game to get that removed. If you are playing through the EA app, all content is now free and should be accessible when downloading through the EA app.

If content is not showing up, it comes down to a sync issue or download issue.

its no biggie, i'l see what it does when i do a new playthrough of leliane's song.

edit: tried it on my laptop, and after getting the achievement for the

6 collected armor pieces the battle dress was in my inventory in

my dao playthrough.

I'l check monday if i get it on my pc as well, since im not at home atm.
