So I re-installed DA:O from Origins, tried to run the game, but I got this error code about missing DLL: NxCharacter.dll. I checked the game files, and i do indeed have this file. I don't have the PhysX everyone is talking about, and after reading much of this forum decided to try to download the NVIDIA driver. It is not compatible with my system, so it would not install. I'm not sure why it's not compatible, since many are saying it doesn't matter if you have a different GPU and such, that it should install just fine.
For reference, I have an HP Pavilion x360. It's getting outdated very quickly. I bought this laptop back in 2018 for school. I really liked the 360 degrees screen, and the digital art pen that came with it. I'm beginning to wonder if I should have gotten a different computer instead at this point. I don't have the money for a new computer, I just wanted to play this game. Does anyone know of a workaround without having to download this NVIDIA driver??? DA:O is old as hell, I don't see why my laptop isn't running it. (Sh*t, my mom's dinosaur laptop can run this game!) Especially since I can run older games like Age of Mythology, all the way up to newer games like the Sims4. It's even more frustrating that Origin's repair game option isn't doing anything.
The error first mentions an invalid license, followed by the "missing DLL". I'm wondering if the file is simply placed in the wrong folder? Or if there's an error in the program language? It's located in the bin_ship folder. The game isn't recognizing that the file is there. I'm hoping that's the issue here, as it's an issue I've have before with other games I've downloaded from Origins and Steam. I've had to work with more knowledgeable people to completely rewrite certain files in other games because some files just wouldn't install properly.
Please let me know if you know of a workaround. Some help would be great!

@Moraveck; Doesn't matter if you're running with an nVidia GPU or not. If you're hardware can run the game, you still need that program. Just download from the link and install.
But...
From Game Debate:
"HD i7 M620 is a specific version of the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD (GMA HD) that comes with the CPU 'Core i7-620M 2.66GHz'. It uses the CPU's Level 3 Cache (up to 4 MB, in this case) + part of the RAM installed on the system up to a maximum of approximately 1.7GB for Vista/7 and 1 GB for XP. The Memory controller supports DDR3-1066 and DDR3-1333 and the Turbo Boost technology of the processor can over-clock the graphics card clock from 500MHz to 766MHz. Unlike the second gen 'Intel HD Graphics 2000/3000', very demanding games might not run at all and only very old games will run on high settings smoothly."
So you may not be able to run the game at all.
