The game is 12 years old and the last patch was 11 years ago, the chance of a new patch is practically zero.
If games get older and the OS and the hardware it runs on gets further away from what is was programmed on, usually more problems appear, that is just how it is.
For me the game ruins fine and without major bugs on Windows 11.
Are there some minor bugs left? Yes, as in any other game I ever played.
Expecting a gaming studio to support a game indefinitely is just not realistic.
Then take it off the Xbox store and stop selling it, that's a viable option 100% because it's literally non-functional on the Xbox platform, dunno if you saw the tag or seen the discussion about it not working on Xbox.
