I did not get this on my first play-through. I need 4 of them and 5 velveteen. I just now received the orders, so does this mean I will definitely find these gems on my current quest? I've never...

Ok, they need to fix this ....Fereldan Locks, decorative gems, MALACHITE. Who knows what else. If you're leveled too high for the drops, then the req. officer shouldn't ask for these things. Prob solved.
I found a ton of them from loot' all over the Hinterlands............PC version
Thanks. I went back there and can't seem to find anyone to fight. Guess it's one of those things where it depends on your level. *sigh*
