Update
Previously my standard female Hawke looked this http://i.imgur.com/B7OQQNS.jpg . Nowhere near the Legendary version seen here http://i.imgur.com/zdpW3GM.jpg .
Now after patch my game closes just after I select the the standard one..

Yes that's exactly what my iconic female Hawke looks like as well. Reloaded a couple times and I get the same model every time I choose the iconic Hawke option. It's really quite a letdown after running to the quest marker to get to talk to me from the last game, and it isn't me.
Having the same problem. I've tried reloading multiple times including from earlier saved games as far back as the snowy sequence before arriving at skyhold. Officially stuck unless someone else has found a workaround for this?

Still the same bug. It's been 2 months since I played the game and it looks like it will be much longer at this rate.
It is not a bug, it is a design choice. The CC differs immensely from DA2 hence impossible to re-create the same appearance from DA2. People in this forum need to differentiate between a design choice and a bug.
The design choice can be horrible but it doesn't make it a bug just because it does not please you. And you always have the option to edit the way your Hawke looks, it is not like you are forced to accept a pre-rendered Bioware pill-sized Hawke.
