I beat and now I am stuck in the courtyard. The gate is locked and the objective still says I have to fight her. I tried reloading the save data, and restarting the game and that didn't work. I have to go back to a previous save file file, I might as well start over.
i also have the same problem, stuck after beating the duchess. i really dont want to go through that whole quest again

Same here. Getting back to an older savegame would mean to replay 15 hours (!!!) because the game did many autosaves during the fight and afterwards. Come on guys, dont let us hang in here ! There is no way you can expect us to replay hours of the game just because of this bug, especially since we know it can happen again. Any hotfix, workaround ? Please !
This happened to me on a similar battle against a powerful demon and I just had to move past it and go back to skyhold. But this has happened twice now just to me and to more than one person so something has to be done
