I encountered the problem, too
I am playing on PS4
the bug is always centered around one character. That person would finish speaking, but the camera remains on his face, you can still hear sound, that character is still breathing, mothing and all, but nothing else happens, no dialogue wheel, nothing. Hitting the square button repeatedly and thus skipping part of dialogue has worked for the glitches I had with Dorian in Skyhold
But now the bug reappeared in the "into the abyss" mission when you need to find the grey wardens. That one remaining grey warden with the mustache, Hawkes contact, causes freezes all the time.
In the Western Approach, after fighting those bonded demon-grey-wardens it now came to a point where even the square button doesn't help any further. Hawkes last lines were something about how people always find reasons to justify their actions, the warden responds and then the screen remains on his face for eternity.
Reloading, starting from earlier safegames, doing other quests meanwhile and then trying again, nothing helps. I CANNOT CONTINUE THE GAME. That is quite frustrating after 13 hours I spent with this character.
I have the suspicion this may be caused by the custom Hawke I imported, give me another 13 hours it will take me with another character to reach that point and I can verify that.

no, it's not related to the custom hawke, because i didn't import anything, and have the same bug.
I have the same problem with game freezing in my laptop. It's only happens during cut-scenes or in tactical table. There are no indication in task manager about process stuck, but only force process quit is helping.
