All the bloody time, I've got a Radeon HD as well, with freshly updated Direct X.
It was bad before the patch (every 10-20 minutes) and the hotfix, and now it is even worse.
Everything is updated, uninstalled and installed and updated again. My computer hasn't seen this much care since I bloody bought it, and all for a broken game I bought for full price.

While we certainly appreciate you trying to help, turning off graphics options is not a solution. We should not have to lower the graphics quality in order to enjoy the game.
These DirectX related crashes are only happening with DAI and no other game. Not heat related, not related to anything but something going wrong in game. Perhaps a new Nvidia driver may fix this or an update to the game itself but personally I will not be turning off graphics options to get the game to work.

I completely agree, especially when we are getting a solid 60+ FPS everywhere, while the hardware is running stable.

-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+
I used to always crash during cut scenes and since I did this I have not so far.
