I had the same issue but I managed to fix it. My GPU is Palit GTX 770 Jetstream. I just underclocked mine from 1150MHZ to 1045MHZ (Reference) using MSI Afterburner. Now I run DAI in full-screen with graphics settings on Ultra (fade-touched for textures; MSAA off for better performance; High for Post-Process AA; HBAO FULL for Ambient Occlusion). 😉
PS:
I tried setting Physix to GPU instead of auto to avoid the slow-motion issue during cut scenes.

Anyhow, I've been playing for a lot of hours and never experienced crashes. Turns out that under-clocking is the real solution for my rig.
