I found out a workaround, that seems to prevent the Crashes to Desktop.
Before i rarely could play 10 minutes without a crash, now it works!
My PC: Phenom X6 3.3ghz, 2x RADEON HD6950 2gb crossfire (16+4x), 16GB ram, windows 8.1 pro, latest drivers, eyefinity 3840*1080
- Disable all Origins in-Game-Options
- start the AMD Gaming evolved app, use pre-entered login or register at raptr. (i registered) (origin is closed at this time)
- it should automatically locate your games, look up dragon age inquisition and optimise the game
- start the game from the amd g.e.-app, check your settings and switch to fullscreen-window-mode
I just played 2 hours without any crash.
I also found out, that most of my graphic settings were to high.
I played at most everything at high, hat no problems ingame - no stutters, lags, hangs, whatever, just that the game randomly crashed.
After optimising the game with the gaming evolved app, i play at most settings medium, some at low and got no crash so far!
