I was just wondering if anyone is monitoring their temps for the GPU. I'm noticing that the crash is happening when my gpu gets passed 90 degrees. I'm wondering if the issue is causing my GPU to get that hot or if I just need a new GPU. I think it's my GPU but I was just wondering if this is happening to anyone else playing dai. It consistently crashes when the temps go above 90 degrees and the directx message appears.
I doubt "Bad commands" have anything to do with GPU temp. If you start seeing odd things in your monitor (stripes, odd colors, etc), then it's probably a temp issue.
Thanks for the reply but no the picture and graphics look fine. The GPU just tends get too hot and then the game crashes but only the game crashes not my whole computer and I get the same directx error as everyone else here. I was just wondering if its related.
For those that don't know, this is an issue with the Frostbite engine itself. It is one of the many issues that Bioware failed to correct before developing DA:I. I uninstalled because the patch 5 beta greatly increased the number of crashes on my end. In tell Bioware fixes the issue I'm done with DA:I and Bioware/EA.
