Same thing here, before patch, an occasional crash at random points in the game, afterwards almost every time I go to wartable

Haven't had a single crash since going to windowed full screen. Everyone knows about this, right?

  Well i can say i tried every solution posted on this forum and on other. I even tried all the absurd ones...
  Never been inside game, the most i've ever seen is the menu...

  I tried windowed fullscreen mode as Mat3zzz suggests. No help, the game still crashes. Patch 5 needs fixing.
