I bought the game yesterday and I said to myself "the game was realeased 4/5 months ago, i'm pretty sure it was patched and it should run nicely".
What a * joke! !! I tried all different solutions and none works for me! So I should shove the 50€ that costed me the game in my a**?
And after treating PC gamers like garbage editors are surprised that games get cracked.
Well guess what EA, you're ending up just like Ubisoft for me, i'm no more buying games from both of your studios.
But do not worry, I will enjoy cracking them. I was an honest gamer/customer, this time is long gone thanks to guys like you.

What are we supposed to do actually?
Couple of things that have helped people:
* Set postprocessing in game to LOW
* In your Nvidia control panel: Set Vsync to Adaptive (though I have to have it set at "On"); you can also set the screen resolution to fullscreen or no scaling; set for single display mode and performance.
* As a last resort (in addition to the above) set the game to play in windowed fullscreen mode.

I'll try with the post process as soon as the new patch is downloaded.
I don't have a link for the patch note but it does not talk about a crash fix, just better stability for all support, we'll se about that.

Just a note, something I always do with a new patch or update...repair it after its done doing its installation.
And if you don't have a solid state hard drive, check to see if it needs defragmenting. That helped immensely with my own game.
Never hurts to add a couple of minutes to fix anything that might have gotten borked in an installation.

Thanks a lot mate!
It seems for me that it is the postprocess. Just got off two long dialogue scenes, and no crash, but I didn't put it on low but medium, seems working now.
Crossing my fingers to keep it that way coz the game is really good!!
