@devilvidel It's actually impressive you got the game to work in the first place, as it actually doesn't meet the minimum requirements (Nvidia 8800 GT, compared to your 8600 GT). More recent DLC and patches may have actually increased what the game requires to run (I know people who could previously play on Intel cards - certainly not meeting minimum requirements - couldn't after installing Trespasser). Some people who've upgraded to Windows 10 have also had issues when they didn't before. It may not be the cause of your error, but it's still likely to cause issues in the game for you.
@PsychocuIt I understand your frustration, but unfortunately these boards are not monitored by EA (except for a few Community Managers). These boards are here for players to help each other out with game or technical issues. Also, EA did not create this game, Bioware did. 😉
Unfortunately, if you've been playing the game for 6 months, I think you're beyond the point of qualifying for a refund. You could always contact a game advisor from EA to find out, though, you can do that here. (Don't say you're reporting a bug, for some reason that gets people redirected back here).
Next I guess I'll try disabling my hdmi audio output.
I doubt anyone else will post a fix. Shot in the dark here. I'll try disabling msaa, as a previous poster suggested. Thanks for that, by the way.

Hey all. Not sure if anyone is still looking for a solution here but for me it was an easy fix! In Nvidia control panel, navigate to "adjust desktop size and position", and put the scaling mode to "no scaling". This was causing problems in other games too and when I switched this everything worked fine!
Hopefully this helps somebody!
