Thanks Gorath_the_Elder! Really appreciate the time you all are putting into Answer HQ. I tried posting the bug with EA and this is where they sent me. Is there a way for me to post bugs with EA, or do they get them from this site?
BTW - I did try Alt-Enter for frameless window and have not crashed once tonight. I told my husband after he got frustrated at his second crash while in character creation (CC). (He crashed in CC alot over the past few days) He made it through CC but crashed at the cutscene when first meet Cassandra. His system is higher than the minimum and at the recommended except his graphics card is NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 vice 660.

NVIDIA Problems seem not directly related to AMD problems. I have spent about 4 hours in Char editor (Sigh when can we finally save there Bioware?)
and it never crashed for me (with AMD). I have used the new AMD Beta drivers and the game didn't crash in the last 3 hours. But that doesn't mean that the problem is gone. With the newest drivers (not beta) I had 3 crashes in 1 hour and then in 5 hours no crash.
