DirectX Function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG {"The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed."}. GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 780 Ti" , Driver 34788
I receive this error when entering the room where Cullen is in Skyhold when I am at the end of the game. I also receive this error when I am talking to Vivienne. So the game is basically broken. I cannot go further. Maybe someone at your offices or BioWare should give me a QA job. I am unsure how this type of thing could be happening. Very frustrating. I have 120 hours in and now must wait till this gets fixed before I can continue. I am happy to see I am not alone I am very unhappy this is still a problem sigh...

I was getting the same error for pretty much the entire last half of March. NVidia released a hotfix driver the other day -- version 350.05. Since I installed that, I haven't had any DirectX crashes.

This is a scandal! I had NEVER EVER any even slight problem while playing BF3 on my old computer with old msi card and now I have this super fast s*** which crashes each game I have normally played on old computer. I have the same problem what you have. This is making me crazy. I am installing the hotfix. It this does not help I will write official letter to nvidia. Even firefox crashes all the time. This has never happened to me before!!! All original, brand new, f*** THIS ALL.
How long do we also have to wait for Mirror's Egde fix from Origin? I can't play the game since 2013 coz there is instant bug in 3rd chapter. We are their clients, give them our money and get no support from them.
