Have you installed the 1.05 patch? It doesn't happen automatically, you have to go to the patch page and download it, then run it.
No, I have not installed the 1.05 path. When I attempted to do so, I got an error message about an "error opening file for writing: C:\Program files (x86)\common files\bioware\uninstall dragon age.exe"
And I don't understand what that means so I aborted the installation.
Should I ignore this problem and continue the installation?

You will need to create a directory under C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\
Called "Bioware" some strange reason the installer does not create this folder.
Then press the Retry button. - 10 years ago
I have actually discovered a solution. I guarantee that it works.
1. Make a .txt file in your Documents folder and call it "Uninstall Dragon Age"
2. Go into it (it'll obviously be blank) and save as .EXE
3. Copy/Move the file that you just made
4. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\
5. If there is no "BioWare" folder, simply create one and Paste the "Uninstall Dragon Age.exe" that you made earlier
6. Now hit "Retry" in the error box that prompted all this and it'll finish the installation
Hope this is of help to anybody out there!
- 4 years ago@JimmySkaggs85 Didn't work for me. Unbelievable how difficult this process has been and will likely continue to be. Why can't they just have the game update like every other game and include the DLC's in the desktop app. I just don't understand how they could biff this so hard.
