Alright thanks that is odd. So you have recruited him as an agent already as well then? Did you already have all 5 research materials before finding him? Or after speaking with him and closing the conversatio once?
I'm not sure what you mean that you handed in the research materials one at a time, since I thought you can only turn that in once you have all 5 as a dialogue choice?
How does this fix the issue? I have the same problem, I killed the dragon and recruited him but i still have the stupid quest find fredrick.
There is no fix posted here yet we are just trying to troubleshoot his issue at the moment by comparing the sequences of events to a known working scenario that's all 😕mileyhappy:
Just wanted to bump this and report the same problem. Had collected 3/5 research materials before I ran into Frederic. At this time I went through all dialog options and he mentioned needing more materials, but it didn't show I had found Frederic. His name still appears as researcher and the quest says I need to find him. I found the rest of the materials, returned, and got the additional quest requirements but the quest still says Find Frederic. It does show me on my map where I need to go to complete other pieces of the quest, but the game still doesn't think I've found him.
I also have this bug, I have him as an agent and I killed the dragon as well. Yet, the bug is still there.
