Dragon age 2 Crash when going to sundermount

I have a MAC and every time i go to leave sundermount it force crashes and does a debug. I have tried it with different characters as well and I've saved the quest for last/first etc. Nothing changes the error/crash every time i try to leave (quest is complete with the amulet).
I'm having the same issue with my MAC. I originally played this game on a MAC years ago, and never had an issue. Now I would like to replay the game, and can't get past this act 1 mission.

Is it the sundermount mission? I went through and replayed it again, leaving all but this mission and I still have a crash.
