Dragon Age 2 PS3 Save Files wil not load

I'm having issues getting my Dragon Age 2 save files to load.  It's been a while since I played the game, so I thought I would play a little bit.  I have the ps3 signature edition of the game. 

My problems are:

Some save files say that they can't load because they are damaged. 

The others say that I cannot load my saved games due to missing the "signature edition content". 

Essentially I can't load any save files.

Here is what I've done:

I made sure that it had the most recent update.

I quit a few times went back into it to see if that would fix it.  It didn't.

Turned the console off and then back on.  Nothing

I read online something about having 30 save files may cause issues, so I deleted unnecessary saves and now have 16 DA2 save files.  No luck.

I deleted the game data utility and reinstalled it with all the dlc.  Still no luck.
