Dragon Age 2 v1.05 on PS3

I've searched all over, but can't find an answer to why my PS3 version of DA2 won't update to 1.05. I've confirmed I am connected to PSN, and I've verified that I'm running v1.01 of DA2. I got this...

Hi guys,
Sorry to ask, but why do you think you need to patch?
As it was explained in this thread a couple of times, the versions available on the PSN and Xbox Lives are the latest available: you don't need to update manually and randomly a game on console. The publisher pays Sony or Microsoft and they deploy the patch on their network for every player to download it next time they log into the game. If you're interested check this Kotaku article about how much it costs to patch a game.
If you're just referring to the "A new update is available!" message that appears on the splash screen... it's just an ad that will probably never change now (Next message is "Mass Effect 3 Demo is here" for example...)

I'm having the same problem. I started Dragon Age 2, the screen comes up and asks me to download Patch 1.05, I say yes, but it won't download the patch. My internet connection is working fine, I was able to download the DLC from the store with no problems. How can I get the new patch?

If you're on the PS3, same as the OP, the patch for that console is on Sony's download site, not EA's, didn't you read that? Incidentally, only DA: Origins ever had any patch of that number. DA2 stopped at 1.04, unless Sony themselves added on one their own.
