Dragon Age 2 v1.05 on PS3

I've searched all over, but can't find an answer to why my PS3 version of DA2 won't update to 1.05. I've confirmed I am connected to PSN, and I've verified that I'm running v1.01 of DA2. I got this...

Sorry to ask, but why do you think you need to patch?
As it was explained in this thread a couple of times, the versions available on the PSN and Xbox Lives are the latest available: you don't need to update manually and randomly a game on console. The publisher pays Sony or Microsoft and they deploy the patch on their network for every player to download it next time they log into the game. If you're interested check this Kotaku article about how much it costs to patch a game.
If you're just referring to the "A new update is available!" message that appears on the splash screen... it's just an ad that will probably never change now (Next message is "Mass Effect 3 Demo is here" for example...)

I keep getting the message to install the latest Dragon Age software patch in the start menu of the Dragon Age 2 game on my PlayStation 3. The message say to get the patch from social.bioware.com...but the link does not work and does not seem to be a valid option from the PS3.

I have tried to look in the extras and the add-ons or downloadable content are within the DA2 game, but no luck on any patches.

I have tried to search through the saved game data and on the PSN, but no luck.

Any ideas or instructions on how to SPECIFICALLY get and install the patch would be very helpful. I would like to stop getting the messages and before I expereince the major bugs as I am approaching 12-15 hours of playing in the game already.
