Dragon Age account?

Hey I would like to know if I need to create a Bioware DA account for access to Dragon Age Servers? I currently have Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition purchased through Steam. Only reason I ask is because DA 2 prompts me to enter account info, and never remembers login information at all, have to log in every time! Just making sure I have everything right!

Oh and I do have an EA account obviously, which is what I have been using.

No, your EA account is the only account you need.

The servers for DAO are down since last year anyway. Logging on to DA2 servers has almost no benefit anymore, so I would just uncheck the "always login" checkbox and play the game.

No, your EA account is the only account you need.

The servers for DAO are down since last year anyway. Logging on to DA2 servers has almost no benefit anymore, so I would just uncheck the "always login" checkbox and play the game.

@holger1405 I think logging in on DA2 does automatically upload your character's image to Dragon Age Keep.

Yes, and that is the only benefit left. But this should be done on the first connection to the Keep with that character, so there is no point in logging in after that.
